The Aquaconnect bulbs are really blue when you first put them in, but after 4 or 5 weeks they settle down to a pretty nice color. Not sure if they're still not a little bit too blue for my taste...

14 hours is a long photo period. 10 or 12 would be more like it. Do you run a skimmer. A good skimmer should take care of green water pretty quick.
