Looks like some kind of a clam/ mussel? Sometimes scallops will look at lot like a rock until it opens up. It may just be a filter eater, don't know for sure.

I, too, had a bi-color blenny. He likes to hide inside my large maxima clam's intake opening, No kidding!!! Took me a few days to get him out. He was nipping at my clam's mantle, too. But I love both...
