I dont know if salt water fish can get this kind of problem but fresh water fish can.

He still grazes on algea all the time, but he looks forward to brine snack.
All my fish and corals are loving the Brine shrimp right now. Its all frozen Hikari brine shrimp.

My tail spot blenny started as a herbivore but now hes eating brine shrimp like crazy. He looooooves the stuff way more then algae.
If he doesnt go for the algae then you should try brine shrimp....
