Single pump or double pumps better?

Would it be better to go with two mag 9 pumps? or one 18 mag. Or another brand? CPR150 overflow, 5ft piping up? Cement floor also.

Does anyone keep their nano pumped into their main tank?

Do they share water flows?
Considering putting a 10g nano above my main for guarenteed pod survival rate to the main tank, plus a place to learn coral.

Agressive FOWLR
Is the CPR102 a good overflow? Anyone have any experience?
It says 1400gph 2 1" bulkheads.

I understand sand could cause potential longterm leaking problems.
