I've always had my Radions enclosed, incl my Gen 1s, and never had any issues. They are well vented, of course, and a lot cooler than the T5s that used to be in there.

Huh?? Did you add up what T5s and MH's cost over 5 years? Be sure to include your power, cooling and bulb replacement costs.

Radions have come way down in price, and I expect will be even a lot...
