So can you clearify? Par meter is accurate or not accurate, and it works with LEDs? And you can use it on and off to increase slide life? I assumed once the slides are wet, you can't let them dry out...

Yeah I'd buy it if you didn't have to keep it in the water. It would be more ideal if you could just put it in the tank when you needed and take some readings so the slides would last substantially...

I do see much use for most of it but $189 for a par meter ain't to shabby. If it's accurate seems well worth for that aspect alone.
