i do have a beef with the hybrid , is incredibly heavy , mounting it by myself would have been quite the task it was a three person job.....not the lightest light in the world for only a 36" fixture:)

haha true , i have no idea how many ghls it would take to look as bright as these on an 8ft tank although i am tempted to take down a few ghls and throw them on half of daves tank for a side by side...

well for a guy running ghl's who wants to add t5's will probably have to have some skill in finishing or a canopy to hide the bulbs in ,but esentially its just adding t5's to the mix so i cant see...

yup got two on daves office tank and if i compare to the ghl's IMO a far better light , we are seeing very good results.

im sure everyones opinion will vary though like always ;PP
