New Era Aquaculture has further enhanced its status on the global stage by landing its largest ever order for the world's newest and largest oceanarium.

New Era's deal is to supply a comprehensive range of diets for the 100,000 marine animals, across more than 800 species, which will inhabit 60 million litres of water in the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) Marine Life Park, Singapore. This final element of the US$5 billion integrated hotel, gaming and attractions complex on Singapore's Sentosa Island opened in December 2012. RWS is part of the Malaysian based Genting Group.

Over the last 12 months New Era's technical staff consulted closely with Marine Life Park's curatorial team advising on quarantine techniques and feeding strategies. Convinced that New Era's innovative diets would meet their feeding needs, RWS pledged its commitment by placing their first order.

Sales are growing at an impressive 50% per year, with international sales forming the major part and extra staff members recruited to manage the increased volumes.

The company is currently working with existing and other new-build aquariums in China, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Pacific and Latin America.
