I had aptasia. Took care of it with some peppermint shrimp.. but I did google it and i came across this thread: some person confused tunicates for aptasia... it looked more like tunicates, you people agree?

Definitely looks like aiptasia couple different methods to getting rid of it depending on how much is in the tank there are chemical means, manual removal means, biological means but I've found most effective for me is peppermint shrimp as a general rule they will gobble it up but not all pepper mints will touch it I have 2 in my tank but only one will eat it.

Here I took another picture of the same one and one of another cluster.
I had aptasia and this just does not look like it... Are there different forms that I am not aware of?

Dearth 04-30-2013 04:22 AM

It comes in many forms, sizes and several colours most common being reddish brown, Brown, white and clear(opaque)
