Baby Bristlenose Plecos

I was cleaning the filters on my freshwater planted tank and discovered 3 of these little guys in the sink. Thought I'd post a picture. I've put them in a breeding tank so my Angels wont get them. Hopefully I can get them to adulthood.

Cool! Good luck!

I didn't know these could be captive bred. So cool!

It's actually quite lucrative to breed some of these strains. Some get VERY expensive and the payout can be big!

Cool I haven't heard many who found baby Pleco's in their tank unless they were breeders.

And when I was a freshie I would of gladly paid for captive bred bristlenose better survival rate.

Anyway good luck with them

Thank you everyone, I'm amazed they were surviving in a canister filter

I've raised at least 50 of them to adulthood. Keep them away from predators and they are quite hardy. I love my bristlenose plecos!
