How long till Krylon safe?

Can people who've spray painted plumbing bits that are now submerged tell me how long they waited before putting the pieces in water?

- dries to touch in 15 min
- handle after 1 hr
- apply additional coats before 24 hrs or after 7 days
- fully chip resistant after 7 days

This leads me to think there is still curing going on until the 7 day mark. I'd really like to get things fired up before then though!

I've used within 24 hours before, no issues I'm aware of.

I've used in water within 24 hours as well. However I have found that if you do leave it for the full 7 days before doing anything with it, it does appear to be a lot harder (mind you this was on a background, so it wasn't going under water).

awesome thanks guys. i'll probably install it (return manifold) tomorrow morning after 24hrs. I should be ok to fire things up that evening then right? I think I've gotten glued pipe wet after only 12 hrs or so...

I waited 24 hours and didn't have any problems.
