What products do you use with your doser?
 

I'm getting close to firing up my doser and I'm curious as to what products and where you get your calcium and alk solutions from. your reasons for liking it and any tips you may have for maintenance would be greatly appreciated

I'm using Fauna Marin for my Ca & Mg needs, and just baking powder for the Alk. It seems to work well.

Do you mean baking soda?

Mine is calcium chloride from caco3reef and baking soda. I dose vodka on my third pump.
I manually add magnesium as needed, usually a bit every couple of weeks.

Calcium and the mag sulfate/chloride mix (randy holmes farley recipe) from Eli at CaCO3 and then I use baking soda for alk.

Yep ment baking soda... been a long day... I also use the Randy recipe for the Alk

I use fauna marin ca, mg and alk. I also dose zeo start with the 4th pump.

I may be biased because we sell Fauna Marin but I have been using the balling method for years... well before I was a retailer for the product.

My doser only has 3 pumps so I'm likening the premix thing from Eli makes it simple. Nervous about the baking soda thing ill research that to tonight. Now I have tried vodka dosing in the past on my 90 I did it manually but I didn't see any great effect by it are there any other alternatives you guys use?
