Just imagine all our resources combined ....

In the spirit of taking up bandwidth, as it appears to be the recent trend

Way out there thoughts .... :silly:

Imagine a group of municipalities of members combining resources and making one big tank, like a public aquarium
For example, how many Greater Vancouver members are there, with how many combined gallons ?
So, say, a 20 or 50,000 gallon aquarium, with public pay access, and a members-only area with a lounge to bring your family and friends, and maybe sleep-over areas ....
All members combine what they pay at home and holee ... now there would be a big tank. And maybe one that would showcase true reefs that are sustainable, and a self-sustaining hobby with the public viewing fees :surprise:
Each member is required to perform maintenance duties and, with the sheer volume of us all, nobody has to deal with anything big on their own
Plus, you'd be able to go diving in your tank

What a crazy idea

OK, carry on

And of course it would be located in Langley....http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon7.gif

If you ever have gone in on tank with someone you would be going back on this post VERRRRYYYYYY fast .

A reef tank has 1000's of small variables between what to feed, what equipment to use, what fish to house, what methodology to use...

Two differing opinions is one thing let alone 20-30...

Here's where it gets interesting ....
It's so big, who cares what goes into it as there's piles of room

Treat the whole tank as the ocean, and create areas of diversity

Some create areas of lagoons, others tidal reefs, etc
The options could be limitless ...

If I were a kazbillionaire ...
