That's why I love marine tanks - you always find weird, but cool things around the tank! :)

Does it have hairy like frills along the sides? Is it round or flattened? Is the body segmented or all one unit? Any antennae or eyes that you can see? The picture lacks the detail required to even id it to phylum :(

The body is not segmented and is split into two colors green and red? , did not appear to have Hairy frills, but looking at the picture again you can see along something along the one side. No antenae and appears to have eyes. It aggressivly wants to burrow into the sand..as you can tell my camera doesnt take the best pictures:sad:

I think ill try and catch it today..

If it is flattened and not round I would take a guess it is a flatworm (phylum Platyhelminthes). These are often associated with bad things, but not necessarily so. Let him burrow into the sand and then just siphon the sand out around him. Then you can stick him in a jar to get a better pic :). You might have a real jem there, some flatworms have some awesome colors and your specimen looks pretty neat :)

I did some searching and came across a link that might help has a picture of a red and green flatworm in the nereids family ... Here's the link the color seems right http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchworms.html
