66g oceanic sps with refugium
Picked up a 66g oceanic read ready tank, stand, aqueon proflex3 sump, zetlight 144w led panel
ATM there's just sand and 1 piece of lr in the tank as I'm bleaching the rest of the rock, Im being extremely picky about what I add to the tank in order to avoid pests. I plan on "selectively seeding the tank". http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/756f6a94.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/4937b78d.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/dfa4bf9e.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/4ab009dd.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/28c44164.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/1407901c.jpg Yesterday me and a friend of mine went to work building a refugium that will be plumbed into the sump It is 17.5"x18.5"x10" inside dimensions which works out to just over 15g Half inch thick bottom 3/8" sides all beveled glass http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/b5881db1.jpg http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/9f7ed6c4.jpg All I have left to do is build a stand and. Drill it but I'm probably going to redo the silicone as it didn't turn out as neat as I wanted it to because I ran out of masking tape |
Livestock for main tank will be 4 wrasses 2 flashers and two fairies
Refugium will have sugar sand, 8 mangroves and 11 engineer gobies with hidden PVC tunnels in the sand to try to stop them from making a mess For bio media I'll be running a pros an 550 and a 150 with bio pellets and a 150 with rowa phos Also the coralife skimmer is getting swapped out for a swc skimmer All the reactors will be housed in the refugiums stand in order to save space around the sump |
Oh and my frag tank
Running an ac 70 hob remora hob and 2x marineland reef bright led panels but only one in the pic as the other one is holding up my jail in my big tank http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...2/759d09e3.jpg |
