Lighting

I am thinking on getting a 72g bowfront with sump/refugium so i am thinking baut the lighting.
I have a Tek light, 4 54W T5 fluorescent bulbs, 48 inches.
The other light i have is no name brand lol 3 white lights T5 HO 39w 12000 each, 3 actinic T5 HO 39w each and 6 double blue moon lights, this one is only 30 inches long and is the one i am using on my 65g.
I am thinking on upgrading from the 65g to the 72g as this last one has the refugium that i will like to add to my tank.
Let me know what u think please, thanks :)

I would definitly go with the 30" with the 6 bulbs. (I would also assume that the 30" is actually 36" as 39W bulbs are for 36" fixtures). A little more wattage (234W vs 216W total) and you can always do more color combo's with the 6 bulbs (and they are cheaper to replace than the 54W). Brands in my opinion are not too much different other than reflectors, It's the bulbs that make all the difference in the world. Cheap bulbs vs good name brand bulbs is like night and day.

Also, what is the length of the new 72 bowfront?

Is 4 feet, i have exactly the same 72g bf myself but with freshwater fish, i use the tek light on that one

Yeah go with the 6 bulb in my opinion. Gives you a chance to run a fiji purple in the mix or something. I'd do 3 good actinics, 1 fiji purple and 2 10K white

One of the whites is burn so I have to get a new one, I will get a purple one then :D I was also checking if this light would fit some how the bow front but it doesn't unless I take the legs out so I have to figure it out how to do it, I don't want to hung it cause I don't want to make holes on the ceiling.
I hope I get the bow front so I can have a sump :)

Reflectors make a huge difference though.... If the no name light has a single reflector for all the bulbs, then the tek light will throw a lot more light....

Pics of the reflector are required! lol
