how long for it to attach?
 

So I picked up some gsp and I used an elastic to secure it to lr where i want it. My question is how long would you guess until i can cut the elastic off? the polyps are out but I was just wondering?

new growth will attach....you probably have a month or two to wait...just glue it

ya, crazy glue seems to work the best....take the coral and rock out, pat the rock and backside of the GSP "mat" dry with a towel....little dabs of glue in strategic locations on the rock and a light "press down" of the GSP and "bob's your uncle"......now the hardest part is keeping it from spreading:wink:

For me the elastic just blended in for me so I just left it. It seems as though the saltwater eats away at them or something chews them up over a month or so as I am finding broken ones rather often in my cube. I have an eggcrate frag rack that's built with elastics that I will need to rebuild soon as their all snapping or breaking down.
