Anyone bought a sienna se lately?

The wife's Honda element is just not cutting it at the moment. With a one year old daughter, a duck toller, and trying for another (baby not toller), it's time to step up to a minivan.

Looking around, we've decided on a Sienna se. They are fairly highly sought after so negotiations have been slow, but nice and progressive, but slow. It looks as though we are sitting roughly 400 over invoice at the moment.

Basically, just wondering if anyone else has bought a sienna as of late. Thoughts on price, experiences with the vehicle, and any options you may have purchased that were really worth it.

Thanks

Ps I wish this thread was about purchasing an ss camero like coralgurl!

Sienna

We enjoy ours, its a 2010 model SE just before they changed the body style. As far as I know mechanically is the same with an extra gear in the transmission.

Great to drive, steering is light and handels better than alot of cars Ive rented (really!). Lots of power and just a well built vehicle. You can tell its will last for a long time. Were on a lease and will probably buy it out when i comes due. Had one check engine light come on but warranty took care of it no problems.

The only thing i dont like is the "energy" efficient tires that new vehicles come with including this one. Take a look at the tread and for low rolling resistance its not very good at all in winter. We have a set of winter tires and there is no problems at all (we have the standard non- awd).

You wont regret it, and if you do sell it in 3-5 years you will still get a good $ value for resale.

We have the 2010 as well my wife loves it, have had zero problems with it. Wouldn't hesitate recommending it.

(I wish it was a Camaro ss as well lol)

It's spelled C A M A R O :wink::mrgreen:

Good luck with the Sienna purchase ... you'll find it reliable, if it's new, or new-ish
Only ones I ever saw problems with were ones that were not well maintained

totally realized I did that

I realized I did that when I got home... I had typed that up on my phone early am.

Too late to edit, new forum rules.

A MINIVAN yikes. I have two kids and a small trailer and dogs. And don't require a mini van.

We get along fine with crew cab Dakota. But if need my brother inlaw has one and likes it Alot.
