Is This Normal Growth Rate
 

just wondering if you guys would consider this acceptable growth for 2 months

It's certainly acceptable growth. But, all SPS will grow at different rates. Generally the rarer more colorful pieces don't grow at all, and the brown ones shoot out the top of the tank in a month :)

The fact that it is growing at all makes it an acceptable growth rate :lol:

That is great growth, I have had more spectacular growth rates on some acros but every coral is different and what is great growth for some could be "nearly dead" for others

im getting really good growth rate from my bonzai as well. :)

all while my 2 welso brains are dying :(

whats the trouble with them??

Theyre melting away. My 2 other brains look fine. But my 2 wellso brains are dying. It might be because of high phosphates. Been battling cyano for 2 weeks. Have had Gfo in a reactor running for 6 days now and it doesn't seem to be helping

i feel for ya man , my orange torch fell off its epoxy and into my elegance knocking my metallic frogspawn over on the way down ......to say the least they arnt gonna make it:( fml

someone just brought a elegance to me that was also melting away its now starting to recover, maybe bring the brains to someone and see if you can get something for them untill you get the phos down??


if it has an intact mouth and some colour its still good:)
