your tank is too small for both, maybe try a smaller tang!

Yeah i realize that...although i had a regal tang from when he was the size of a toonie for 6 years and he was healthy and happy until he jumped out...grew to be about 4 inches long and never had ich...so i thought i would try it again

Might of jumped since he was cramped for space. My 230g is a bit on the small side for my Naso never mind a 75g, and a minimum of a 180g for either tang would be better. I suggest an upgrade if you want to keep one of those kinds of tangs. Just because you can keep a large fish in a small tank doesn't mean you should. Tangs like space to swim they get claustrophobic in small tanks, you could live in a tiny cave and and survive and do ok, but would you want to?

Ken wont sell a regal tang to someone who doesn't have a proper sized tank for it, especially if they don't intend to upgrade or re-home the tang when it gets larger.

Tang

Thanks for your input :)

Not to discurage but most will recommend a Kole tang or a Yellow tang for that size of tank. Fish are like people everyones different, another Regal may or may not like your 75G... Good luck!
