Brain coral looks like it's going to pop...pics added

Over the course of the day, my brain coral has puffed right up and looks like it's going to explode. There's nothing around it that could be aggravating it. It's slightly shaded by a rock. I adjusted the rock earlier today but it's gotten bigger. Any thoughts, is this normal? I've had it for a few months.

they tend to do that, where do you keep it?? what kind of brain is it??:)

It's on the sand in the middle of the tank. I'm not sure what kind, I got it from Snappy, it's red green and bluish. It's about 3 in tall right now, usually lays fairly flat, but wrinkly if that helps.

mine do it all the time ,if im feeding the tank they may swell right up sometimes looks like they are gonna pop sometimes they do it if i handle them or kick up a sandstorm.....not a regular occurance but happens every now and then :)

if its skin/color looks healthy and is feeding then it should be just fine:)

I was told they do that when they are happy. Deflated all the time is no good.

Pictures from last night and this morning, lights were off at both times. First one is from this morning. Don't mind the pink rocks....they were under the sand which has been blown to the corners....lol

Appreciate the input!
