Edm FS/Trade Yellow Clown Goby and Fairy Wrasse

The yellow clown goby is full of character, an easy to get along with fish, 1" in length. Safe in reefs without sps corals.

Accidentally bought two male blue sided fairy wrasses at Christmas. One must go. Reef safe with all corals, but not with shrimp of any kind.

PM me with phone # if interested or for more info.

Did you have problems with the wrasse and shrimp? I always thought fairy wrasses were crustacean-safe...

Did not do the $15 shrimp test with the fairy wrasses  , but am assuming, like most wrasses, shimp will not be safe with them.

I have the exact same wrasse in the picture and it's fine with all my shrimps. I have in the same tank cleaner shrimps, fire shrimps, perppermint shrimps and anenome shrimp and they are all doing fine.

From what I've read fairy wrasses are safer than many other wrasses, but of course odder things have happened (my tang eats mini brittle stars and cyanobacteria).

Bev I know I expressed interested in this fish a while back but given that my tank will be gone within a few months, I think I'd best back out.

That's exactly what I deduced, Quinn

How big is your wrasse? Mine's only 3" long. I'm only assuming here, but wrasses are notorious shrimp eaters. Maybe I'm wrong about fairy wrasses. Used to have a yellow coris wrasse that was only 2" at most and it was eyeing the shrimp even at that size.

My wrasse is 3.5" long and my peppermint is 3/4" and anemone shrimp is 1/2" and no problem at all. THe warsee doesn't even eye or pick on any shrimp or fishes.

My wrasses only go after each other, hence the need to get rid of one. Otherwise, they are congenial community fish.

I would take the fairy wrasse Bev if we could figure out how to get it here

Cheers
