I use Aquariogest Saltwater. It's a bit clunky at times but you can store and track pretty much everything. I haven't used anything else though so I can't compare it to anything.

Here is the link to thier website:

What kind of data are you looking to track? Anything more complicated that a spreadsheet can't handle? Or maybe something like a MS Access database..

It wants me to pay....

As ridiculous as it is, a free ware solution must exist (poor college student)

i know theres Dr. aquarium and you can pretty much operate your entire tank off of it with probes and dosers and what not

I use Excel spreadsheet to track tank data, not into full controller. Link to a rather dated version of what I've built over the past few years. Mostly my own ideas, but have used some data & formulas designed by others & incorporated into mine. I've made quite a number of changes since posting this version to web. Excel 2000, but it works for my purposes.

I've started using http://www.nimbits.com

Still playing with it, but been working more on the arduino than the logging. It stores numbers...as for UI and stuff I haven't even started thinking of that.
