Clam questions and ID 2 SPS corals....
I posted this a few days back but now have a pic....
I got some live rock (from a fellow reefer) that included a 3" clam - do not know the actual type of clam, but is very cool looking. I put the rock with clam about 1/2 way up in my 150 gallon tank, so is about a foot from the surface with good flow but not direct flow from one of the tunzes. Question 1: My bubble tip anenome gets larger by the day, and will move from time-to-time. It is getting close to the clam and seems to kill off the SPS coral as it moves around. Will the anenome harm/kill it? 2: Do I target feed the clam or does it just filter feed? 3: can anyone identify the SPS corals that are attached to the rock. Many thanks |
Looks like either a crocea or maxima.... Can't really see the shell , but I'm guessing crocea because of the color.... The pinkish sps looks like pocillopora Damicornis..... not sure on the other acro

The one on the left looks like a pink ponci maybe stylo I have a hard time telling them apart unless there side by side other one looks like an acro idk the genus though and the clam looks like a maxima or crocea
