mushroom or?

I bought a zoa rock a few weeks ago.. thanks Garath.. and this is a hitch hiker on it. It is a muchroom isnt it? Ive never had an anemone, but I dont think its a mini carpet is it? The green is really irredescent.. kinda like the green in an elegance.

Agreed. Don't ask me the species, but in my tank I have some of these and they get BIG. Around 5 inches across. They're pretty cool. As a side note, those are some darned cool Zoanthids there, that mushroom may nuke those.

Thanks guys.. I've been watching it for 2 weeks to make sute it wasn't moving.. I'm such an anemone nube!

It IS a nice zoa rock. progressive got in a bunch of them. It was really hard picking ONE out.. But I liked the mushroom.

your going to have to get the zoes off the rock and on to some thing else. or the mushroom will have to be moved.
A friend has some of those not quite as nicely colored but his carpet Nem grabbed it and they fought and the Nem let it go I guess it can fight back quite well for a Nem to let go.

Give it a few weeks and you wont like it, they spread like weeds and are impossible to remove. They have taken over one part of my tank.
