l/f sea hare
i am looking to borrow a sea hare for a couple weeks if someone has one and they dont mind sending it to a new home for a bit i would really apreciate it
|
I've rented them from Red Coral (in Calgary) in the past. Try the Edmonton store.
Renting them makes a lot of sense.... |
Word of Caution:
Make sure you keep an eye on the hair algae level in your tank. If there isnt any left, you better return the sea hare to where you got him. I just lost my seahare on the weekend. Found it barely moving on the sandbed in front of the tank. Then I realized it must have starved cuz there wasnt any hair algae left in my tank :S |
yeah i know they need the algae to live cuz they dont eat anything else thats why i just want to borrow one rather than buy one and have to give it away
|
Which is precisely why renting one makes so much sense !
 |
maybe i need to go out and buy one then give it away when i am done to restart that helping the fellow reefer trend. simply enough i am broke,
i can't afford to rent or buy but if something must be given then i will give a nice piece of live rock to whoever lends me their sea hare |
I'd lend mine to you if only I can find him!
No matter what I do, I cannot find him. Don't think he's dead or I'd have HUGE problems with water quality. Keep this in mind when you get yours. My intention was to give mine away, too. Lenny. |
thanks for the consideration Lenny i apreciate it
|
Mine completely disappeared too. Had him for 2 days then pouff, gone!
I never had any weird spike or anything either, but I feel like he must have died or I would see him. I had intended to lend it out as well. |
oh well guess the next best thing for now is the old 3 day black out
