MH lighting on a 75 gal
 

Ok i have a questuion for ya .I have a 75 gal tank wioth a center brae that is plastic. I was thinking about if i go with a MH light i was going to take of the center brace and put on 2 braces on the side's. Then i thought about running a single 400 12K sunburst bulb on the tank would that be enough.

I had i 400 on a 280 it was 72" and the 75 is a 48"

Go with two 175s centered on each side, your center brace should be fine.

My 75 started with 2 175w. I then upgraded to 2 400w. I liked the 400w better. :razz:
