New Vertex LD Illumilux in my 6g jbj
 

Just picked up a new Vertex to replace the Nanotuners 2.18 PC lights on my tank. Holy cow, what a difference! My pictures are not the best as they were done with my phone, but you'll get the idea. I'll dig out my camera and post some better ones as soon as I get my corals next week. Biggest differences; much brighter than 2X18w PC's, better blues, more shimmer and better distribution of light. J&L doesn't have the mounting brackets for them yet, so i just removed the stock lid and velcro'd them on so they don't get bumped. No more fan noise, bye bye algae and bulb changes! Now to just figure out what i want for Corals!

Which colour(s) did you buy for this tank? Are you using the Vertex only or did you add them to the existing lighting? I'm liking the Marino Bianco for a 10g.
