How do you test DKH?

I always use the standard calc.... drops x 10 = X


Is there any benefit to stating 10 DKH or 100 KH?

Not sure what you mean by 10 DKH or 100 KH but here is a chart if you want to convert between the three different units of measure.

But I am still curious.... if this chart just shows you the PPM to DKH... why change it?

Doesn't matter how you calculate it. If your test kit gives you ppm you can use the chart to convert it to dKH if you want to know what it is since most people express it that way. Ex: 7.0 dKH = 2.50 meq/l = 125 ppm.

Thanks. I was just not sure if there was something else behind it. I have only ever calculated PPM and aim for 140 and as long as thats ok... Ill keep doing it that way.
