New rock/tank
 

Hey guys new to salt water/canreef. Picked up a RSM130 almost two weeks ago. Bought some LR from the LFS on Sunday. The rock has been in the tank for just over 2days. Both the ammonia and nitrite is 0. Checked it over the past two days. Have been blowing the detritus off the rock and stuff. I guess what I'm getting at is how long should I wait to add sand. I read myka's thread about curing rock and it said a week after they both have been at 0? Think I can add sand by the weekend if everything is still 0?

when the detritus is mostly gone and the ammonia and nitrite are both stable at 0 for a week or so. then you can add sand and a small ( like small small) cuc
