Cooking live rock (again.. I'm sure)
I know there are hundreds of posts RE: this.
Here's what I know so far and I'm just curious what people's experience is. I just bought about 30-40lbs of live rock. It is in bad shape. Has been neglected for some time. There are huge tufts of green algae (not sure what kind.. I'm new to salt). Almost like a carpet. I know that I put it in a rubbermaid tub with salt water - heater and powerheads. - Done. How often should I change the water? Without breaking the bank in Salt. What about actually raising the temp to 35C for awhile. Will that help? |
if i were you id check out myka's guide ... it helped me with all my liverock issues http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=44859
