calibrating ph monitor

can you calibrate a ph monitor with just th 7.0 solution? I got one from swc and this is all it came with, but the instructions say to use 10 as well...or is the 10 not really necessary?

you need both solutions. hydrophonics shops have that solution if you dont want to mail order some
