OM 4 way, wavebox or Vortech?

OK, I am almost positive I am getting a 150g from a friend. He's got it plumbed right now with spraybars with plumbing over the top rim of the tank. I am not sure which way I want to go. OM 4 way, plumbed over the top, or up from bottom, Or a wavebox, or Vortech's??? I really would like to Not have powerheads. My 45g has a closed loop setup above the waterline, pointing down. But thers no random flow. Its all one direction...

Any help in which way I should go, would be greatfull. I wont have alot of time, when I get the tank, as its occupied and have to find temp accomodations for the livestock.

Never used an Ocean Motion myself, but I do have a wavebox and have seen the Vortech in action, I am actually looking at selling the wavebox and going with the Vortech myself as I don't like the amount of space the wavebox takes up, all a matter of personal preference I think, I love the wavebox but it would be nice if it was smaller.

If you decide to go the VorTech route, you will require at least two for a 150 gal.

Check this thread for additional discussion re wavebox, closed loop, VorTech

I've been running an OM SS Compact on my return pluming for just over two years now. The one I bought originally had a bad motor but they use different ones now so that they are much quieter and more reliable. Overall I'm very happy with it, I get great random flow without having to have large powerheads or a big wave box in my tank.
