Changing the subject here, sorry, but I'm intrigued by the blue sponge. Do you target feed it? And how does one go about moving them from tank to tank, as I've read that they cannot be in contact with air?

This is my 2nd blue sponge. The first one that I had lasted about 2-3 weeks before it turned completely white and died. This one is now almost 2 months so I think it will make it.

I've read that this type of sponge likes strong lighting and so far so good. I don't do target feeding. I feed the tank DT's 2-3 times a week.

To move it from tank to tank, just put it in a bag underwater and transport it to another tank and open the bag underwater. You do have to make the sacrafice of having some of the previous tank water in the new tank.

Sam where is the green one you got off me? Ryland still sort of has the frag I trade for, but he has someone else looking after his live stock since he moved.
