Tiny Xenia frags for $30.
 

Know there's another thread active re:LFS but this post is to Xenia.

Was at one of the chain LFS (won't say who) and they were selling individual Xenia frags, way smaller than a pencil diameter for $29.99. This is the stuff I give away and if can't, end up flushing down the toilet!

Who's buying this stuff???

(btw, did spend $100+ on media and food).

Holy! That's ridiculous!!! I find their coral pricing to be crazy stupid on quite a bit. Like the bright pink yuma in their display nano is like $500 (I know cause I asked) :crazyeye:

When I first started in this hobby 5 years ago I would paid $30 for a xenia frag, I know much better now. It's all about the target audience.

That is why it is nice to have a site like canreef where new people can get good advice. :)

When I first bought my Xiena it had a 3 stalks and I did pay $ 35.00 for it. That of course was before I found out about this site. In the past I gave some to a lfs to sell and they broke the rock into 8 pieces and it all sold within 2 days, so there is demand out there with the right customer.
