8 bulb vs 6 bulb tek
 

hey everyone i have dilema right now. i am choosing between a 8 bulb and 6 bulb fixture, the 8 bulb comes with all 8 bulbs for 450$ and the 6 comes with no bulbs for 390$ i have a 100 gallon tank 25" tall 48" length and 19" depth i am wondering what my best option is here to go with the 8bulbs at that price and use used bulbs for the next 12 months or go with the 6 and have to buy all new bulbs and pay more just wanna hear some feedback

So the 8 bulb unit is not a tek unit? Does the 8 bulb unit have individual reflectors?

What type of bulbs come with the 8 bulb unit?

sorry both are tek and the bulbs are all guismen

What are you planning to keep?

using old bulbs will just cause you headaches with algae blooms, stick with the 6 bulb one, especially if the 8 bulb one doesn't have individual reflectors.
