What's with Edm and LFS corals
 

Looking at Red Corals Aquariums post (here) wondering why I never see anything close to that locally.

About the same size so assuming demand about the same. Likely not shipped direct from oversea but through Vancouver, Vancouver to Calgary pretty much the same as Vancouver to Edm. Why?

i was there just after they got it in. never bought any but still dont think ther is any left.

Stuff like that sells really fast.

Mark I cannot answer your why? in regards to Edm. LFS's but I can answer how I Red Coral have quality sps coral on a consistent basis.
Much has to do with understanding your market and supplying that demand. 20+% of this order was presold.
Buying in large enough quantity to ensure quality and fair pricing. I have ordered up to 150 SPS Colonies at a time.
The most important aspect is Red Coral does not need to sell SPS's that we get in within a WEEK (before they bleach out and die). We have the aquarium setups with T5 and MH lighting to grow and sustain our new inhabitants.
Last but not least is our customers that were exciting about a shipment coming in giving me encouragement to proceed. Within 2 hours of SPS's landing in Red Coral a case was shipped to Edmonton.
Mark if you want value and quality SPS's from your LFS; it does not necessarily have to reside in Edmonton.
