Hairy brown algae
 

I have some nasty hairy brown algae growing up in my tank, how can I get rid of them? they seems that they like flow!!! what can I do? should I get a lawnmover? please help

how old is your tank and how much flow.
I had some brown algae on the back glass and it went away after about the fourth month.
I have a lot of flow though 800gh through a squid and two koraline 3's in a 24 gallon.:biggrin:
What about your ALK what is that at?
