Question on ro membrane

I have an Aquasafe RO/DI unit that is supposed to be the 100gpd. I need a new membrane and most likely a booster pump as well (at some point). Anyone know where I could get the membrane or the pump locally or am I stuck with buying one through Aquasafe?

My membrane is clogged up due to not enough pressure (just changed the filters, carbon clogged it  ) and I only have 2 days worth of top up water left, so need a fast solution. =/

Edit: yes it has a back flush, the problem is not enough pressure to backflush it properly hence my membrane is silted up too early....

did your kit not come with the back flush valve?

I can confirm that. I bought my previous replacement cartridges from there a few months ago.

Does it have to be an Aquasafe RO membrane or can I put in any 100gpd membrane?

Not sure, sorry.

You should be able to use any RO membrane that I know of, as long as its the same size (and I think most are standard).

Thanks Christy, I guess I will need to check the hardware store. Maybe I will get lucky and find something. (Heat has been terrible, going through water like mad)
