Aquarium Obsessed Blue Series 100 package for sale only !!$2500!! Port Moody

Well... due to a crazy work schedule I've had this tank sitting in my basement and EMPTY, never used! for almost a year now. I've opened all the packages to ensure everything was included and nothing damaged but nothing in this package has seen saltwater! I need to sell it now, as I have a baby on the way and due to some tighter budgeting and an expected lack of time I won't be able to set it up. Plus the wife wants the hobby room I was storing this tank in for the baby room! My loss is your gain!

I opted for the Blue series 100 package with some modifications such as no lights and an upgrded skimmer, enclosed stand and the adjustable light rack, you can view the original system here: http://www.aquariumobsessed.com/mm5/...ry_Code=AQPKBS

With my modifications, this package cost over $5000 before shipping! I'm only asking for half the original cost!

The system includes the following equipment:

* H&S Internal 150-F2001 Protein Skimmer (http://www.aquariumobsessed.com/mm5/...Category_Code=)

* Aquatronica Premium Controller Package (http://www.aquariumobsessed.com/mm5/...gory_Code=AQPK)

* Quiet One 6000 Return Pump - 1506GPH (http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/s...ct_ID=wp-q6000)

* Finnex 300W Titanium Heater
* Fauna Marin Food, Carbon and UltraPhos Package
* All Plumbing and Bulkheads included

The heart of the setup is the beautiful tank and sump:

Aquarium Specifications:
* 48"L x 24"W x 20"H Trimless/Braceless - 100 Gallons
* Internal Corner Overflows with SMOKED GLASS
* Starphire Front and Side Glass
* Sump 36"L x 14"W x 16"H

Stand Specifications:
* 48"L x 24"W x 36"H
* Polished Aluminum Stand with Leveling Feet, enclosed in black! It has an awesome, slightly industrial look.
* Includes the matching Adjustable Light Rack!

I will also throw in the following 3 freebies if you buy this and take it off my hands!:

1) http://www.mentalprodigy.com/tank/hammerhead.jpg - This item cost me $99, I have never used it. I think they retail for about $70 still.

2) http://www.mentalprodigy.com/tank/ozone.jpg - I used this on my old 120g tank, it did wonders for water clarity. It was a special order item that cost over $200.

3) http://www.mentalprodigy.com/tank/mag9.jpg - As you can see it cost me $129, but they still retail for over $100. It's only been mildly used, was originally my saltwater mixing pump. As such it has never seen continuous duty.

Please email me if you are interested. shane@ezprovider.net

THANKS!

Geez that's a deal. That AO stuff is top notch right down to the little details like smoked glass overflows and grey PVC plumbing!

There stuff is awesome, thats where I got my 220 gallon made and I have never seen quality like I did from them.

Would purchase in a heartbeat if I was looking for a system.

I know it seems like a drag now, but your kid can give you just as much or more satisfaction! I know, I know, that's little consolation. Maybe you should think about a new house instead of giving up that sweet tank? If not, babies can sleep in closets for the first few years. They get used to it...........yes I'm kidding.

KEEP THE TANK!!! Eat Kraft Dinner for next 2 years, buy baby clothes from thrift shop, baby sleeps in stand beside sump. Gotta get your priorities straight.:mrgreen:

LostMind 06-02-2008 02:12 AM

Problem is, this is the new house! The wife just filled the damned place up with nice new furniture and I've been shuffled to one room in the basement. I gotta have my tv and the tv won't fit with the fishtank ;(

If I was a single dad, I'd keep the fishtank and eat nothing but protein shakes for the next year or two until I got on top of the new mortgage payments and baby supplies. But my wife won't drink protein powder and demands rice and veggies and meat and seafood - all that real food what costs real money!

And seriously, this is a very sexy fishtank. I've been trying to convince my office building manager to let me bring the tank into my office. Problem is the insurance and the 7th floor... otherwise I would be keeping it :(

And just for the record, I love my wife dearly. We both make a lot of sacrifices to keep the other happy :)

Thanks for the interest folks! Please feel free to pass along this thread and see if we can't get this beautiful tank to a new home with a good owner!
