Would this be fine to use with Koralia's?

The wavemaker will perform as usual. The only concern is whether the Koralia can sustain the constant on/off.

hmmm... I'm tempted but I don't want to break my Koralia's & I'm not a fan of MJ's.

I'll do a little research & get back to you.

Thanks.

koralia now has a pro series designed to work with wavemakers...

Don't really know if there is actually a difference, I do know though that many have tried to work Koralias with a wavemaker only to kill the koralia in months.

with the new koralia wavemaker, the pumps never actually stop running, one decreases to a minimal flow while the other increases to the max. the problem is that it only controls 2 powerheads.

the control unit is very expensive. and it can only power the new 12V version koralia. Older 120W will not run with the control unti meaning you have to buy a whole new set of koralia powerhead just to run the wavemaker. fairly expensive for anyone already have koralia powerhead.

I am running the same unit with 4 hydor 2's ...they have been running 6 months without a problem. Tunze's don't like the on off thing though that is why I went to hydors

I've tried using my reg Koralia's on a wavemaker (didn't have the soft on) and they really tend to "click and chatter" when they are powered on.
The Red Sea Pro has the " soft on" so I don't know if that would make a diff.
Officially, the reg Koralia's aren't designed to be used with any wavemaker's. Unofficially, some folks seem to have success, other's do not.

If you want to use regular korillias on a wavemaker without destroying them you have to use 1 that just varies the power and doesnt turn on/off all the time. Seio i think is about the most inexpensive, and if you need to do more than 2 powerheads than just use a plug splitter or something like that.
