LF 40g breeder, Calgary

Need something like a 40g breeder to replace my current carpet tank. Something like 36x18 footprint and 14" tall would be ideal.

Stand would be bonus but not required, I can build a new stand.

Drilled with overflow would be cherry, although also not a dealbreaker.

Would need to not have been exposed to copper and so on though..

I bought mine from petsmart for 99.00. No centre brace with 36 x 18 footprint.

My sump is almost those dimension Tony. I think its 36x 18x 16. I got it for $40 at Bow valley. It was an old Petland tank, and had two 1.5" holes drilled in the back of it. I wouldn't know if they have any right now, but it wouldn't hurt to ask them.

Yeah, I'll probably have to buy something retail but thought I'd first see what's out there as time is of the essence. I should have been a little more proactive about this but the two carpets overlapping hasn't been a problem until lately, now I'm not so sure. They just keep getting bigger and bigger is the problem and they really can't fit in a 24x24 footprint any longer. It's either find them a bigger tank or maybe sell one..

I hope you find a tank then. Those sure are nice creatures, I'd hate to see one of them go. What about the big tank? Will they both fit in there?
