DKH=Alkalinity?

is this right?

dkh is a measurement of alkalinity such as cm is to legth, or km/hr is to speed. Another form of measurement of alkanility is meq. I have no idea what they mean but thats what I know

so it would be better to say DKH than Alkalinity?

DKH i believe is the german measurement for testing you Alk, / Meg/L is the other measurement. that we use for ALk

What's useful is to specify the units used in alk. If you say your alk is 4 then one could figured it's high assuming measured in meg/l or
low if assumed measured in dKH or really really low if measured in ppm CaCO3 equivalents.

Calcium and Magnesium is usually measured in ppm so probably ok if you just say Ca of 400.
