On the road to recovery

cyano growth has slowed considerably. It's been 48hrs since I had to blow the stuff off the rocks. 2 weeks ago the cyano completely covered the rock within half a day of cleaning.
Some corals have turned brown and some have lost bits and pieces but i've only completely lost 1 coral

Ahhhhhhhhh beautiful as usual Marie. Looks like everything is coming along nicely. Why not give red slime remover a try?

I think it looks as good as I've ever seen it.

yay! a turnaround!! Cyano sucks. I've had patches of it in my tank for ages it seems. I just suffer quietly though, I know there are worse algaes out there

And yes your tank still looks pretty darn spectacular to me

I'll stick to the old fashioned way, hard work and elbow grease

I don't like to add anything to the tank, this is a result of interceptor killing off something (or a whole lot of somethings) in the tank, I don't want to make it worse by killing something else with the red slime remover

Tank looks great Marie. Wouldn't even have noticed that it has cyano unless you mentioned it.

Hey, the Achilles is right-side up! :)

Tank looks good Marie. I know things can get frustrating (beleeeeeeeeive me I know. I'm still there, I'm there every day). Hang in there. You have a magnificent setup.

I have to say this is a case where a little experience payed off. Knowing every coral intimitely, I knew by reading coral body language that things weren't right and had started to remedy the situation even before the cyano and dinos showed up. Unfortunately it didn't save one of my favourite corals

This is the one I lost

Tank looks great. You did such a great job with the recovery. Do you remember where you got that "casualty" originally so I can see if I can get you another frag of it? Glad it wasn't that one Tom & I really admired on your right overflow box.
