Tank to date

The tank has been running since January. Since then I've learnt alot. Sorry to say that alot of it was learnt the hard way. I had major cyno breakout at 3 months. Multiple loss of fish, most of which I should not have bought. And yes they were the expensive ones. My wife told me about the tank that was at her hairdressers shop. They had decided to sell it because they could't control the air quality in the salon and the hair spray was finding it's way into the tank.

When I bought it it had a fluval 404 filter, one pro4 powerhead, a heater and a single light. the previuos owner was keeping the liverock and sand alive. thanks to the guys at J&L and Hidden reef I've managed to slowly upgrade. And I can't forget CanReef, to date I've picked up my sump thanks "Option" free cheato from "fkshiu" and free sand from "overwhelmed" I scan those ads every day:)
