RO unit or should I return and get a RO/DI

I got a coralife RO unit for christmas. I thinking about returning it and paying the extra dollars to get the RO/DI. Is it worth it and what is the difference. What would you do in my shoes.
Thanks
Josh

Josh, You could always buy a "Tapwater Purifier " and hook it up to your ro after the membrane and then you have an RO/DI.
That's what I would have done had I not purchased my RO/DI.

cheers
jonny

How much do they cost and where can I get one.
Are they the things that you attach to your tape.

I bought 1 at PetSmart for $60, and I have seen them at Big Al's
and they attach to the tap, but you can attach to the RO unit by putting the outlet tube from the RO into the inlet tube of the DI unit and sealing with a little silicone

Shmoo do you know the brand name of the DI unit you bought so that I can find what Im looking for.
Thanks
Josh

It is called Tap Water Purifier from Aquarium Pharm. We bought it from J & L Aquatics..

Thanks for that. Ill have to look for them next time im out.
As for now the fish will have to live with just RO.

I have the tap water purifier and I love it, I don't use an RO at all, our water here is clear enough that the DI filter lasts about 6 months and provides the most perfect water you can imagine... even to pure for my Discus...
