which would be a good fish store to buy a T5 light fixture......at a decent price. Brand new T5 light fixtures are very expensive..

I bought one from hidden reef a couple months back HO t5 56w 20000k for my fowler and i'd have to say best t5 I ever seen now I'm not too sure you might want to call them 1st but they may have lower k bulbs for the application so it's not as blue also OA can get these in.

it was fairly cheap don't know the brand made in China but what isn't $50

These ones TD is talking about are the light strips, not the full T5 units (like a Tek). Great light for the price though.

Am looking for the full T5 light fixture (like a Tek or Aquatinics)with 4 or 6 bulbs and independant reflectors

I bought a 36" Tek-Light T5 High Output Fixture today from Hidden Reef for $449.99, it holds 6 bulbs. They also sell Aquatinics 36" 5 Lamp T5 (39W T5HO) for $439.99

You paid $449.99? does that include taxes? bulbs and mounting bracket?
