fish room size?
 

im going to be framing a fish room into my house what sie did you guys go? im thinking 6feet by 6

My fish room is 7ft by 10ft and sometimes it still feels cramped. I am a messy person though and i do have to share the room with a freezer and my quarantine tank is 4ft long...

I am planning one and hope to start construction some time this year. I am thinking for the size to be about 14' x 10' so I have room for a few extra tanks and equipment and not feel too crowded.

I am designing mine to be 7' x 8' and that is going to be tight with a 230 (inwall fowlr) 33 qtank and a 70 reef only tank, sink, small fridge and 1 chair LOL.

mine is going to be fish and fish only but im starting to think that it will be a little too small

i would make it a minimum 10x10. But for quick reference walk onto your laundry room and other bedrooms in your house to place your equipment with 1 sq ft pieces of paper to get a general idea of how much room you will have when its stocked with equipment. Don't forget to plumb in a laundry tub sink...... best thing you can have in a fish room.

ya i was thinking of putting a sink in there its just dragging my brother here to hinton he is better at that stuff than me
