Actinic bulbs vs royal blue bulbs
 

Is there a difference between using actinic or royal blue bulbs in a power compact coralife light? I was told at Big Al's that the royal blue light will bring out the colors in the tank better??? I am just wondering if it is going to be OK with my corals?

i use the royal blue blubs, just a slightly different wavelength 460nm vs. 420nm(Actinic). It will be fine with your corals, its just personal preference.
