DIY kalk reactor with maxijet1200
 

For those who have DIY kalk reactors with maxijets, what fittings are you using to attach the maxijets (input and output) to the outside of the reactor?

I've just used vinyl hose, barb fitting on outside of reactor to vinyl hose to maxijet, easy er to service or replace pump

For the outlet, I use:

Plastic tube that comes with maxi jet that fits over the outlet glued 1 threaded portion of a 1/2" cutoff riser. Now you have a maxi jet that can accept 1/2" pvc fittings on the outlet.

For the inlet, I glue a pvc fitting on and use that.
